"This is my story,
this is my song.
Praising my Saviour all the day long!"
One of my daughters loved this hymn and would sing it all the time! Such precious memories! We all have a story. Some are hard to listen to, and even harder to tell. At the National Holocaust Museum, they have Holocaust survors sitting at a table, and you can sit down with them and listen as they tell you a part of their story. I love asking verterans of our military to share with me what their service years were like. Because I love listening to people share their story, I have heard quite a few, and I have learned something-every story has an end. Sometimes, the end comes as a season of life passes on to the next. Sometimes the end comes when life on this earth is done. But as a Christian, death here is not the end. We have a whole new story waiting for us when we are absent from this body and present with our Lord! This story will not be hard to hear, and it will not be hard to tell, because it is not our story! It is God's. We will sing His praises, worship him, and bow down before Him. "Praising my Saviour all the day long!"
